KITCHEN:
“Julie has the ability to provide emotional support with supreme non-judgment & artful empathy... the perfect medicine for chronic clutters like me who grapple with shame around these issues. I want to get to the root of it, not just a quick fix. We spend part of each session in "listening time," then get to the action plan and homework that really works for me. Thanks to Julie, I'm finally getting relief from the Clutter Monsters, and feeling more empowered about managing my home and my life!”

BATH:
“Julie's work is absolutely amazing! She helps your things find homes where they make sense. Not only can you stay organized with her system and her coaching, but also you can actually find what you really need. Her organizational skills help cut down on time, anxiety, and clutter! It's extremely cleansing to treat yourself to the time and energy that Room For Life Organizing rewards you with.”

HOME OFFICE:
"Thank you for your work the end of 2007. It has gotten me
off to a wonderful start to 2008 and to my new career! I am so grateful. I love my office!"

STUDIO:
"Working with Julie was a true pleasure.  My space was cluttered and unorganized, I hated being in the room.  Working felt like a chore, and I often felt drained.  After Julie was done, the space felt energized, light, and uplifting.  I love being in my office now, and I believe I am being much more productive, and positive. Every student commented on how great my studio looks, and most asked if I got all new furniture!” [It's the same furniture she's had for more than 5 years!]

KITCHEN: In four hours, this kitchen was transformed into a functional room for the whole famly. Shifting the table 90 degrees allows easy seating, and full access to the staging area by the door. The model car collection (featured in the windowsill) adds whimsy to the family dining area, and with learning supplies in the cupboard, this area utilizes the natural light to double as the homework area. The picture doesn't show the rest of the kitchen, which included an area for the kids to help make their lunches, the island, etc.

BATHROOM: Pictures may speak a thousand words, but these don’t really do justice. You can see this family's beloved kitty can now access his water, and Mom can easily use her facial products each morning. You may even notice the towels stored neatly on the shelf. What you CAN'T see is that in about 45 minutes, we got rid of two trash bags of expired, empty, no longer needed stuff, gathered two loads of laundry, created usable storage below, and transformed this family bath into a clean and functional room.

HOME OFFICE: This scattered and overwhelmed desk reflected the career transition of this otherwise organized person. The four hour process included releasing things related to her old profession, clarifying her new direction, and shifting the space: her focus literally changed. We reutilized the table as her desk, and the laminate desk became her project space, with a section of shelves for each aspect of her developing career.

STUDIO: In six quick hours, we delineated three specific areas (desk, lessons, recital) in this music studio/office. Storage space for numerous instruments (from violins to tubas!) was screened off, workspace and storage for equipment was created, and the desk cleared. Another 3-hour session was spent updating a filing system, including client and office files, and 5 drawers housing over 20,000 pieces of sheet music! The space is functional for her music and performance clients, and with a few quick shifts, it transforms into a recital space for an audience of 50.
